Profane Sacrament

Profane Sacrament follows Henry Beckwith, a young man who unwillingly inherited his late father's textile company, and with it the expectation to marry well and keep the Beckwith name afloat. Introduced to London's social elites, Henry most learn to take on the act of a proper gentleman: a married man, a father, and a business magnate. Matters get out of hand, however, when one Lord Hadleigh summons Henry to fit him for an upcoming gathering.

At Bewcastle Hall, where the ancient hallways wail with tortured ghosts, and uncanny creatures roam the estate's accursed land, Henry succumbs to Lord Hadleigh's hedonistic tendencies: good food, good sex, and the promise that Henry need not hide his truth—that his father never bore a son to inherit Beckwith & Co.
